In early India, peoplefashioned jewellery out of natural materials found in abundance all over the country-seeds, feathers, leaves, berries, fruits, flowers, animal bones, claws and teeth. Even today such jewellery is used by the different tribal societies.
Indian Jewellery is famous for its craftsmanship and quality. The popular adage `old is gold holds true for Indian jewellery as traditional and antique designs. Most of the Indian Jewellery is handmade. Indian jewellery was born 5000 years ago.
